What Can I Expect During My First Visit to a Chiropractor?

Generally you can expect to complete new patient paperwork and watch a brief introductory video about chiropractic and our office. You will then receive a consultation involving your medical history and an examination. The consultation is your opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to the matter. The physical examination may include orthopedic testing and a specific chiropractic evaluation. X-rays may be necessary to determine an exact diagnosis and can be done at our office. Finally, you will be scheduled for one of our specially designated report times where our Chiropractor will go over the results of the exam and x-rays and give you his best recommendations for treatment as well as the associated cost for care. Then on this second visit, the doctor will give you an adjustment and begin your care program!
